A new year has begun. And before we've had a chance to break our New Year's resolutions, we find ourselves with very little time to make up our minds on who we want to take Bush's spot in the White House.
Twice before, we have begun the process to stop this man, and twice we have failed. Eight years of our lives as Americans will have been lost, the world left in upheaval against us... and yet now, today, we hope against hope that our moment has finally arrived, that the amazingly powerful force of the Republican Party will somehow be halted. But we know that the Democrats are experts at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, and if there's a way to blow this election, they will find it and do it with gusto.
I think we can all agree, besides the 32% that still support Bush, that we would rather have a 6 yr old boy in Kindergarten running this country then him. So, why are elections still so hard this year? We all know we need a new president, and just about anyone of them will do after what Bush has put this country through, yet we still can't make up our minds. A catch 22 if you ask me.
Our country has been in utter termoil for the last 8 yrs. As I see it nothing has gone remotely right. Our ecomony is dying, from gas to foreclosures! Our american pride is compromised by the fact that we send our troops to other countries to solve their probelms at the expense of our soldiers lives. It's their country let them figure it out, we did. All we need to be worried about is keeping our country safe from this side. Keep our troops here and fight off whatever may come our way, not go running into it.
We need to regroup and regain our american spirit, live as one, as eachother. Getting Bush out of office is our first step, now we have to figure out who will take his place.....Anyone but Bush, Right!!!???
